Air Compressor Has Water, How To Discharge?

Oct 25, 2022

With the improvement of air requirements, many industries require water-free compressed air for air compressors, but air compressors often have water. What are the reasons for air compressors to have water?

1. Because there is always water in the air, the so-called humidity, after compression, it will become a supersaturated state, and the water in the air will be analyzed and become a liquid. The moisture content in the compressed air is related to the humidity of the air. If the environment in the equipment room is too humid, the moisture content in the air will exceed the usage standard.

2. The automatic drainer of the air compressor itself is blocked or the automatic drainer of the air storage tank is blocked.

3. The corresponding dryer is not installed or does not work normally after installation (drying equipment fails, and it is not detected and processed in time), and finally the compressed gas of the air compressor is not processed in time, resulting in a large amount of moisture after removal. Unable to meet normal usage requirements.

4. The post-installation measures are not sufficient. In the production process with strict requirements on the quality of the compressor gas, there are generally facilities such as precision filters to perform a second action on the gas to further purify the gas until the production requirements are met.

In order to ensure that the gas quality meets the production process, when there is water in your air compressor, you can timely check the cause according to the above situation, find out the fault, and take remedial measures.
