How To Recover The Heat Energy Of Air Compressors?

Jul 28, 2022

Compressed air is one of the most widely used power sources in industry. Because of its safety, pollution-free, good adjustment performance, convenient transportation and many other advantages, it is more and more widely used in modern industrial fields. But to get high-quality compressed air requires a lot of energy. In most production enterprises, the energy consumption of compressed air accounts for 10%-35% of the total electricity consumption.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy. When the compressor is running, the electric energy actually used to increase the potential energy of the air accounts for only a small part of 15% of the total power consumption, and about 85% of the electric energy is converted into heat, which is discharged to the air through air cooling or water cooling. in the air.

This "excess" heat is discharged into the air, which makes this heat wasted. For this wasted heat, 50% of it can be used, which is equivalent to 40% of the shaft power of the compressor.

Effect :

The waste heat generated by the air compressor provides a heat source, which is exchanged in the waste heat recovery device of the air compressor to generate hot water. The hot water flows through the original heating system and is stored in the heat preservation water tank, and then the original heating system sends the hot water to the whole plant. The dormitory buildings are used, and the unused hot water is returned to the circulating water pump through the heat preservation water tank for reheating. The whole cycle process is completed by the circulating water pump, and the supplementary water level is completed by the original heating system. When the air compressor stops running on holidays, the original heating system will automatically start heating.

Usage :

1.Can be used as heating for other liquid media

2.Can be used as preheating for boiler make-up water

3.Enter the central air conditioning system to use

3.water for live

4.Industrial Process Heating

5.Industrial Cleaning and Sanitary Cleaning
