1. The voltage is too low

This is a problem that many users are prone to, and the harm is often great. For this problem, the power frequency can often only adjust the transformer. For example, the grid voltage is only 360V, so it is recommended to replace the transformer from 380V to 220V, but for the motor, Often because the replacement cost is too high, it is recommended to ask the manufacturer whether the motor can bear it, and then decide the follow-up method.

 

Frequency conversion often has more means than power frequency. For frequency conversion models, due to the circuit principle inside the inverter: the inverter can change the output power by changing the output voltage, but this voltage cannot be higher than the input voltage. . If your input voltage is only 360V, then a machine with a rated voltage of 380V can only output 360V. If the voltage is not enough, the inverter will increase the current. In fact, as long as the current is not too large, it can be used. If the current is too large, the upper limit frequency can also be lowered to ensure that the machine can still run.

 

2. The voltage is too high

The way to deal with this problem, for power frequency, is the same as the above method, for frequency converter, you can look at the nameplate of the frequency converter, as shown in the figure below, the input phase (INPUT) of the frequency converter can withstand high voltage, if the voltage is not enough If the voltage is too high, you can contact the manufacturer to relax the conditions of excessive voltage.

 

3. Voltage fluctuation

This problem is difficult to deal with. If the voltage fluctuation is small, the machine can adapt itself. For the grid with large fluctuation, it is necessary to distinguish the form of fluctuation. If it is an occasional large fluctuation, the power frequency machine can adjust the transformer according to the first two methods. The said slight adjustment is to adapt to the sudden change of voltage. For insurance, you can also change to a larger capacity transformer and a contactor with a larger suction and range to prevent the sudden change of voltage and cause the contactor to become unstable and generate electric sparks. For inverter models, the protection value can be relaxed after negotiation with the manufacturer. If there are frequent large fluctuations, it is recommended that users optimize the power grid first and then use the above methods to adjust according to the optimized situation.
