The Influence Of Oil Content On The Energy Efficiency Of Air Compressor

The influence of oil content on the energy efficiency of an air compressor is mainly the differential pressure of oil content, and the differential pressure of two aspects of oil content will affect the energy efficiency of the air compressor.


1. Initial pressure difference. Generally speaking, the initial differential pressure of oil distribution of different manufacturers and practices is generally not too different. The difference is generally 0.1 to 0.2 kg. Therefore, the difference between different manufacturers and different practices of oil distribution and their respective effects on energy efficiency will not be particularly large. Of course, suppose the lower the initial differential pressure of the oil is used. In that case, the energy efficiency will be slightly higher.


2. Differential pressure in the middle and later stages of oil separation. If the differential pressure between the middle and later stages of oil separation is low, it will greatly improve the energy efficiency of the air compressor; on the contrary, if the differential pressure between the middle and later stages of oil separation is large, it will greatly reduce the energy efficiency of air compressor. The large differential pressure in the middle and late stages of oil distribution is generally caused by four aspects.


The filtering precision of the air filter is too low, and too much dust is sucked in;


Poor quality of lubricating oil, resulting in excessive carbon accumulation;


Humid air or low operating temperature, resulting in excessive moisture in the system;


The design and manufacture of the oil itself. A few oil manufacturers simply pursue low oil content to cater to air compressor agents, resulting in high internal pressure in the middle and late stages of oil distribution.


Key points: air compressor maintenance, maintenance, the choice of composite oil points (folding + flat wrap), in addition to the initial pressure difference being small, the middle and late pressure difference being small is the focus. From the point of view of energy saving, the energy-saving effect is very good for larger models with compound oil parts. Still, some enterprises simply show the 8000 hours long service life of the compound oil part but can not make the middle and late small pressure difference, which is contrary to the original intention of energy saving.
