Theoretically, the lower the temperature, the higher the energy efficiency, but in actual use, it is the opposite. When the temperature is too low, the water discharge is not complete. Too much water will not only affect the quality of lubricating oil but also increase the differential oil pressure, reducing the energy efficiency of the air compressor. On balance, it is recommended that the operating temperature be set at 85-90 degrees and that the user be reminded to drain the oil separation drum regularly.
Actual cases:
The first case is a 22kW air compressor used in a rice tumbling factory. The difference between the current before and after maintenance is 6A. Because of the dusty rice tumbling factory, the quality of the air filter used is not good, and the user also deferred maintenance.
Secondly, a secondary compressor, which claims that the oil is replaced once in 8000 hours, is used for 8000 hours, but the 90kW machine runs the current of 110kW machine. Due to improper maintenance, this secondary compressor may have lower energy efficiency than the primary compressor.
The third one is that the compressor is 70A before and 60A after maintenance, which is a 10A difference in current. It turns out that the user uses a very poor environment and a brand of oil prone to high internal pressure in the middle and late stages. If the high-quality air filter is used, an air filter is blown and changed diligently. Oil with relatively low internal pressure in the middle and late stages is used, high-quality lubricating oil is used. Other aspects are also paid attention to. The current difference before and after the next maintenance can be controlled at about 6A. Maintenance, maintenance cycle down, and power consumption savings of several thousand degrees should not be too difficult.
