As a power device, permanent magnet variable frequency air compressors are widely used in industry, fire protection, medical and other industries. The structure of air compressors is complex, and there will inevitably be some problems during use. Then the common faults of permanent magnet variable frequency air compressors are: Which ones?
Phenomenon 1: The permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor unit cannot be started
Possible reasons:
1) The fuse wire is broken;
2) The temperature switch is damaged and the wiring is loose;
3) The thermal relay of the main motor acts;
4) Fan motor thermal relay action;
5) The transformer is damaged.
Phenomenon 2: The dryer stops shortly after starting
Possible reasons:
1) The ambient temperature is too high;
2) The condenser is blocked;
3) The compressor is overloaded;
4) Lack of refrigerant;
5) The low pressure is too low;
6) The air intake is too large;
7) The compressor is stuck.
Phenomenon 3: The exhaust temperature of the permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor unit is too high
Possible reasons:
1) The amount of lubricating oil for the permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor unit is insufficient;
2) The ambient temperature exceeds the specified range (38°C);
3) The cooling fins of the oil cooler are blocked by dust;
4) Incorrect specifications of lubricating oil;
5) Malfunction of thermal control valve;
6) The inlet air filter is dirty;
7) The oil filter core is blocked;
8) The cooling fan is faulty;
9) The exhaust duct is not smooth or the exhaust resistance (back pressure) is large;
10) The temperature sensor is faulty.
Phenomenon 4: The pressure of the permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor unit is low
Possible reasons:
1) The actual gas consumption is greater than the output gas volume of the unit;
2) Defective air release valve (cannot be closed when loading)
;3) Malfunction of intake valve;
4) The hydraulic cylinder is faulty;
5) The minimum pressure valve is stuck;
6) The pressure sensor is faulty;
7) Malfunction of the pressure gauge;
8) The pressure switch is faulty;
9) The pressure sensor or pressure gauge input hose is leaking.
Phenomenon 5. The exhaust pressure of the permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor is too high
Possible reasons:
1) The intake valve is faulty;
2) The hydraulic cylinder is faulty;
3) The load solenoid valve (1SV) is faulty;
4) The pressure setting is too high;
5) The pressure sensor is faulty;
6) Malfunction of the pressure gauge;
7) The phenomenon of pressure switch failure
Phenomenon 6: The permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor unit has high oil consumption or large oil content in the compressed air
Possible reasons:
1) Too much coolant;
2) The cuff tube is blocked;
3) The installation of the oil return pipe and the interval at the bottom of the oil separation core do not meet the requirements;
4) The unit has oil leakage;
5) Coolant deterioration or extended use;
6) When the permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor unit is running, the exhaust pressure is too low.
