The window where oil is installed must be cleaned. It is strictly forbidden to expose it to the sun and store it in the open air. It must be stored in a dark, dry, and ventilated place to prevent the mixing of moisture and dust.
When taking oil or loading oil, the light rain around the barrel cover must be removed to prevent sundries from mixing into the oil and causing wear on the pump.
Different brands and varieties of vacuum pump oil cannot be mixed, and old and new oils cannot be mixed either.
Strictly avoid mixing vacuum oil with other lubricating oils, let alone light oil products, which will affect the vacuum performance.
The vacuum pump should try to avoid removing solvents, water vapor, corrosive gases, etc. It must be checked frequently, and the oil should be changed frequently when it must be used.
When changing the oil of the vacuum pump, the old oil used in the pump body should be discharged. After pouring in the new oil, slowly turn the pump shaft, clean the pump cavity to drain the residual oil, repeat the cleaning several times, and replace it with a new one after cleaning oil.
When the vacuum pump is overhauled, all parts of the pump must be cleaned with solvent or cleaning agent and dried.
The refueling appliance must be a special piece of equipment and should not be a container that has been used for other oils or solvents; a pump.
When mineral oil is exchanged with ester oil or other synthetic oil, the pump should be disassembled for thorough cleaning. To prevent contamination, all parts must be immersed in ester oil.
If the inhalation of chemical gases and solvents affects the vacuum after the oil pollution of the vacuum pump, it must be cleaned and replaced.
