Only 10% of the electricity consumed by the air compressor is converted into compressed air, and 90% is converted into heat energy. However, the average leakage of compressed air in the factory is 20-30%. All pneumatic tools, hoses, joints, valves, and a small hole of 1 square millimeter, under the pressure of 7bar, lose almost 4,000 yuan a year. This is a very serious problem, so how should it be solved?
Measures:
● Pressure drop control, pressure gauges are set up in each section of the pipeline. Generally, the air compressor is exported to the point of use in the factory. 0.2bar, check the pressure drop of each section in detail, and check and maintain the faulty pipe network section in time.
● Carefully evaluate the pressure requirements of the gas-using equipment, and try to lower the exhaust pressure of the air compressor under the condition of ensuring production. Many gas-using equipment only needs 3 to 4 bar for the cylinder, and a few manipulators need more than 6 bar. For every 1 bar lower in pressure, energy saving is about 7-10%.
● The factory should try to arrange the annular pipe network to balance the air pressure at each point.
● If the number of air compressors is small, one variable frequency air pressure regulator can be used. If the number of air compressors exceeds 4 or 5, a good energy saving effect can be achieved through reasonable parameter setting, reasonable size configuration and the aforementioned means.
● Centralized linkage control of air compressors to avoid stepped exhaust pressure rise caused by parameter setting of multiple air compressors
● Try to reduce the intake air temperature of the air compressor as much as possible, because the internal temperature of the air compressor station is generally higher than that of the outdoor, you can consider the outdoor temperature
● Improve the cooling effect of cooling water and reduce the temperature of cooling water as much as possible, especially in summer
● Do a good job in equipment maintenance and cleaning, increase the heat dissipation effect of the air compressor, and the exchange effect of the heat exchangers such as water cooling and air cooling, and maintain the oil quality.
